This year's theme, "Technology, AI & Caring: Opportunities, Challenges and Dilemmas," will guide engaging discussions on how innovation intersects with empathy in the care of aging individuals and their families.

Explore topics including the impact of artificial intelligence on clinical practice, ethical considerations in digital care, advancements in gerontechnology, and human-centered approaches that preserve compassion in an increasingly tech-driven world.

NHCGNE has invited all interested parties to submit abstract proposals to showcase their work. All presentations will align with the main conference theme and at least one of the designated sub-themes.

Sub Themes

  • Theme 1: Can we consider AI a caregiver or a tool for human caregivers?
  • Theme 2: What training is required/recommended for patients and caregivers using new tech?
  • Theme 3: Has new technology been properly researched and proven to improve care?
  • Theme 4: What are the implications of Safety vs. Surveillance & the right to privacy?
